Neujahrs Karte / New Years card

Zu der Wednesday Challenge «Something New” von Simon Says Stamp, habe ich diese Karte gemacht.

Mit dem Star Turnabout Stempel ( nur innerer Teil) habe ich drei Abrücke auf einen mittelblauen Tonkarton gestempelt. Einmal in Gold, einmal in Silber und einmal mit Verasmark. Diesen habe ich mit dem Embossing Puder Violet Schimmernd embosst. Den letzten «turn» habe ich mit der dazu passenden Stanzschablone gemacht.
Die Ränder färbte ich mit Distress Inks ein, um etwas mehr «Drama» zu bekommen.

Hinter die ausgestanzten Sterne klebte ich orange-rotes Glitter Papier. Den Panel schnitt ich passend zu und befestigte ihn auf einem weissen Kartenrohling.

Mit der Glimmer Maschine, Regenbogenfolie und dem mittelblauen Tonkarton habe ich mir die Feuerwerke erstellt und danach mit den dazugehörigen Stanzschablonen ausgestanzt. Diese arrangierte ich auf der Karte.

Nun stempelte ich die Tiermotive und Ballons sowie den Text auf Copic freundlichem Papier und malte diese auch gleich aus. Mit den passenden Stanzformen habe ich alles ausgestanzt und mit Schaumstoff Klebeband auf der Karte montiert.

For the Wednesday Challenge «Something New» by Simon Says Stamp, I made this card.

With the Star Turnabout stamp (only inner part) I stamped three times on a medium blue cardstock. Once in gold, once in silver and once with verasmark. I embossed it with the Embossing Powder Violet Shimmering. I made the last "turn" with the matching die. I colored the edges with Distress Inks to get a little more “drama”.

Behind the die-cut stars I glued orange-red glitter paper. I cut the panel to fit and attached it to a white card base.

With the glimmer machine, some rainbow foil and the medium blue cardstock I created the fireworks. I cut them out with the matching die and arranged these on the card.

Now I stamped the critters and balloons as well as the text on Copic-friendly paper and colored them right away. With the matching dies I cut them out and mounted it on the card with foam tape.
