the three cards I made with the great Karen Burniston Pop-Up dies.

Die erste Karte mit den Lebkuchen habe ich so ähnlich auf dem Blog von Karen Burniston gesehen.

Ich habe die Karte in etwas abgeänderter Form nachgebastelt, da ich nicht alle Produkte, welche Sie verwendet hat, habe. Ausserdem wollte ich etwas Platz in der Karte zum Schreiben, darum habe ich auf der Front mehr Deko gemacht. Die Lebkuchen Männchen und Frauen sowie Herzen, Sterne und so weiter sind ein Stempelset von Honey Bee Stamps welche ich auf mittelbraunen Tonkarton gestempelt und mit weiss embosst habe. So sieht es aus wie Zuckergussverzierung. Danach habe ich mit meinem Distress inks die Ränder nachgefärbt. Die Holzmaserung auf der Front sowie unter dem "Behälter" habe ich mit meiner Prägeschablone in beigen Tonkarton gepresst und dann auch wieder mit meinen Distress inks und einem Blending Brush eingefärbt.
I got the inspiration for first card with the Gingerbreads, I get from the Karen Burniston blog.
I changed it a bit because I didn’t have the same products and I wanted more space in the inside to write so I put more of the decoration on the front.The Gingerbread-man and -woman, the heart and stars is from a stamp and die set from Honey Bee Stamps. I stamped the images on mid brown cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing power. So, it looks like an icing ornament. Then I blended the edges with my Distress inks and a blender brush.
For the front I took a light brown cardstock and embossed it with the 3-D embossing folder Lumber from Sizzix and Tim Holtz to get the woodgrain texture. After that I blended the hole panel also with my Distress inks and a blender brush.
Bei der zweiten Karte habe ich mir überlegt. Was kann man noch alles in diesen Behälter packen. Die Idee passend zu Winter/ Weihnachten waren dann Schneeflocken. Also habe ich ganz viele Schneeflocken ausgestanzt und diese im und um den Behälter arrangiert. Den weissen Frontpanel habe ich mit meiner 3D Prägeschablone Winter Snowflakes von Sizzix geprägt, da der Panel aber grösser als die Prägeschablone ist habe ich einfach das Papier gedreht und auch auf der anderen Seite geprägt. Um die Naht zwischen den beiden Prägungen zu verstecken habe ich die Schneeflocken als Deko - Element darüber geklebt.
For the next card I am thinking about what I can put in the pot also. So, the
next idea for winter/ Christmas was snowflakes.
So, I die cut a lot of different snowflakes from different cardstock, mirror
cardstock and glitter cardstock. I glued them in and around the pot and on the
front panel. The white front panel I embossed with the Winter Snowflake embossing
folder from Sizzix. Because my panel was bigger than the embossing folder, I
simply turned the paper and embossed again. To hide the seam, I glued the
Snowflakes over it.
Die dritte Karte habe ich dann mit dem tollen " Christmas Tree Pop-Up" Set gemacht. Für den Frontpanel habe ich mir ein paar Splatters mit meiner Glimmer Maschine und Hot foil darauf gemacht. Die Stanzformen für den Tannenbaum habe ich mal von einer Bastelfreundin geschenkt bekommen. Ich weiss leider nicht, von wem der ist.

For the
third and last card, I used the wonderful “Christmas Pop-Up” dies set.
On the front panel I took the Glimmer machine and my Hot Foil and put some
splatters on with a Hot Foil Plate from Spellbinders. Then I die cut the fir
tree, this die set was a gift from a crafty friend and I don’t know the name
and from witch company it is.
